PoP! Goes My Heart

But then pop! Goes my heart”

Remember that song Hugh Grant sings in Music and Lyrics? Well, I thought it was fitting as I’m about to review a product close to my HEART, Becca Cosmetic’s Champagne POP. Hehehe. I’m not funny.

If you’re a beauty junkie of any level, you’ve probably heard of Champagne Pop one of Becca Cosmetic’s seven Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed. This color (exclusive to Sephora stores) was designed by professional makeup artist and YouTube sensation Jaclyn Hill.

I’ve been using Becca highlighters for a year now. They have the best pigment and reflectors. These highlighters are also a bit more creamy and soft to the touch than most others.

Champagne Pop is definitely a summer hue in my opinion. The company describes it as a soft gold with peach undertones. The girl at Sephora recommended I use it over my Moonstone Shimmering Perfector for an extra POP! I tried it and discovered this is how I like to wear it best. While many say it looks good on all skin tones, I’d recommend this for the bronze, olive skinned babes. I think those with fair skin are better off with Moonstone and or Pearl.

As a true pisces, I live in a magical and delusional land in my head. In this world romances unfold the way they do in romantic comedies, everything at Sephora is free, Shake Shake burgers are a diet food, and we have the capability to clone Harry Styles.

In real life (what's that?), I spend my days pondering how Kylie Jenner's face changed so much. I'm a beauty junkie and pop culture-loving wedding videographer and freelance journalist. I have a Princess Jasmine complex. I am a Fanson (die hard Hanson fan). I enjoy belting old Celine Dion songs.

Please take everything I say seriously (I have my Masters in journalism from Syracuse University), but not too seriously (Cosmo is my favorite publication.)
