I’m literally flabbergasted by the amount of positive feedback I’ve gotten on my article “I’m a Virgin, So Why Am I Being Slut-Shamed?” for Cosmopolitan.com. Elle Woods has been my role model since 8th grade. She’s the perfect combination of beauty and brains, while still having feminine interests. I’m honored to have written an article in the Legally Blonde “Bible.” Elle wasn’t the only person I had in mind while writing this piece. I was also channeling a virgin-style Carrie Bradshaw, but somehow I didn’t include the phrase “I couldn’t help but wonder…”
It’s been so exciting to see the online discussion unfold because of the article. Thank you all who have read it! If you have yet to check it out, you can read it HERE.
This week I also had the privilege to sit down with one of my favorite SNL alums, Rachel Dratch, to discuss my time on The Bachelor. If you haven’t seen her weekly Bachelor recaps, you must catch up on The Dratchelor on FunnyOrDie HERE. We talk corn, princesses, “the stare down”, and much more. It received a 80% funny rate, so I promise Bachelor fans will enjoy all the dish!
As a true pisces, I live in a magical and delusional land in my head. In this world romances unfold the way they do in romantic comedies, everything at Sephora is free, Shake Shake burgers are a diet food, and we have the capability to clone Harry Styles.
In real life (what's that?), I spend my days pondering how Kylie Jenner's face changed so much. I'm a beauty junkie and pop culture-loving wedding videographer and freelance journalist. I have a Princess Jasmine complex. I am a Fanson (die hard Hanson fan). I enjoy belting old Celine Dion songs.
Please take everything I say seriously (I have my Masters in journalism from Syracuse University), but not too seriously (Cosmo is my favorite publication.)
