Royal Crowning: Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale still looks exactly how she did when she was caught in a love triangle with Ben Affleck and Josh Harnett in 2000’s Pearl Harbor. (Let’s talk about how that was one of the epic romance stories that shaped my psyche later.) The 41-year old is not only ageless, she’s timeless. Beckinsale possesses the kind of beauty that isn’t trendy, but it transcends decades…centuries…millenniums…This is why Kate Beckinsale is being given this week’s Duchess crown.

Timeless Stunner: Kate Beckinsale
Timeless Stunner: Kate Beckinsale

Beckinsale announced the Golden Globe nominees early, really earrrllyyy Thursday morning and somehow managed this flawless, wide-awake daytime look. Of course, she did. Perfect, wavy sombre hair. Glowy skin highlighted with what appears to be a peachy, cream blush. A touch of shadow. Perfectly filled in brows. A pretty pink, slightly glossy lip. ANNNDD a beautifully botoxed forehead. 😉 While it probably took her makeup people at least 30 minutes to complete this look, it looks effortless. Kate Beckinsale, could you BE any more perfect?! *Chandler Bing style*

As a true pisces, I live in a magical and delusional land in my head. In this world romances unfold the way they do in romantic comedies, everything at Sephora is free, Shake Shake burgers are a diet food, and we have the capability to clone Harry Styles.

In real life (what's that?), I spend my days pondering how Kylie Jenner's face changed so much. I'm a beauty junkie and pop culture-loving wedding videographer and freelance journalist. I have a Princess Jasmine complex. I am a Fanson (die hard Hanson fan). I enjoy belting old Celine Dion songs.

Please take everything I say seriously (I have my Masters in journalism from Syracuse University), but not too seriously (Cosmo is my favorite publication.)
